 The YMCA-YWCA of Greater Victoria's annual Leadership and Mentoring Conference sets out to help young women achieve their full potential, personally and professionally. Inspiring young women to explore opportunities in their lives and become leaders in the community, this women-centred leadership development experience empowers women, ages 21-34, to be advocates for themselves and their community, and to build relationships with the purpose of establishing role models, support systems, encouragement and mentorship. Currently in our fifth year, this legacy program of the Women of Distinction Awards is the only one of its kind in Canada, and is unique to the YMCA-YWCA of Greater Victoria.
