By forcing pop-ups to open into new tabs instead of new windows, you'll increase your productivity and sanity.
- Click the Tools button
- Select Internet Options
- Select the General tab
- Click the Settings button in the Tabs section
- Check Always open pop-ups in new tab
- Click OK until you are back to the browser.
